This Privacy Policy explains what information IR8 Games ("we", "us") collects when you play STRIKEM and how we use and protect it. By creating an account or playing STRIKEM, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — the email address and username you provide, and a securely hashed version of your password (we never store your password in plain text).
• Gameplay data — your progression (level, XP, in-game currency), match history and statistics, clan and party membership, friends, and in-game chat messages.
• Technical data — your IP address, device/browser type, and server logs, collected automatically to operate the service, keep it secure, and diagnose problems.
• Local storage — we store a sign-in token on your device to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and let you sign in.
• To run the game — matchmaking, leaderboards, clans, parties, replays, and progression.
• To send account-related email, such as password resets.
• To keep the game fair and secure (preventing cheating, abuse, and fraud) and to enforce our Terms.
• To diagnose issues, understand usage, and improve the game.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate STRIKEM, and only as needed to provide the service:

• Hosting/infrastructure — the servers that run the game and store its data.
• Email delivery — Resend, to send transactional emails such as password resets.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our players or IR8 Games.

4. Public Information

Some information is visible to other players by design: your username, level, rank, stats, leaderboard position, clan, and any messages you send in chat. Don't share anything in your username or chat you wouldn't want to be public.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data except where we must retain it to comply with the law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

6. Security

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and account access uses signed tokens. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Children's Privacy

STRIKEM is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Some regions require a higher minimum age; where that applies, that age governs.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at support@strikem.net. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

9. International Users

We operate in the United States. If you access STRIKEM from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date, and where appropriate we'll notify you in-game.
